Start with the models you actually take to a game. Measure the tallest miniature, the widest vehicle and any weapons or banners that extend beyond a base. Compare those measurements with the usable internal height and shelf dimensions of each A-Case.
A points total alone does not determine the space you need. Two 2,000-point armies can have very different transport requirements. Lay out your bases within the shelf footprint and leave clearance around delicate parts before choosing a case.
A miniature carrying case protects and organises your models while you travel. A-Case uses an aluminium frame and adjustable steel shelves inside a bag or backpack. Suitable magnets attached beneath your bases hold the miniatures upright on the shelves.
Steel bases alone will not stick to a steel shelf. Fit suitable magnets, check that they are securely attached and test the holding force for each model before travelling. Heavy models and tall centrepieces may need a different magnet arrangement from light infantry.
The shelves have no fixed foam slots, so you can rearrange models and shelf spacing when your army changes. Always leave clearance for weapons, wings and banners.
